This is a Power apps canvas app for mobile layout which is created to manage the Asset repair/maintenance requests. All data is stored in SharePoint online.
This app provides following functionalities:
There are 3 types of users:
Field Users
Mechanics
Delivery Persons
1. Field users:
Field users can add asset maintenance/repair requests by selecting ‘Asset Id’ or scanning the Barcode on the asset.
The user can see all his existing asset repair requests.
User is also able to see asset related information.
Once field user adds request, the Mechanic Supervisor will receive email notification.
2. Mechanics:
Mechanics can see all the asset repair requests raised by field users.
Mechanics then can schedule a pick-up from the field users for the pending requests.
Similarly, this user role can schedule a pick-up from shop once the asset is ready for delivery after maintenance/repair.
When mechanics schedule a pick-up from field users, the delivery persons and field users get email notification.
When mechanics schedule a pick-up from the shop for delivery, the delivery person gets email notification.
3. Delivery Persons:
A delivery person picks up an asset from the field user and drops it off at the shop.
Once an asset is repaired, a delivery person can pick up that asset from the shop and deliver it back to its field user.
